Personalised stationery and gifts are among the most meaningful details of a wedding, and because every piece is made especially for you, they need a little more planning than an off-the-shelf purchase. This guide walks you through every stage of your order.

Step 1: Work out your deadline first

Start with your wedding date and work backwards from the date you need your items in hand. For invitations, allow time to address and mail them to your guests, as well as time for design, proof approval, production and delivery. For on-the-day stationery, signage and gifts, allow time to check your order and prepare it for your celebration.

Recommended advance ordering deadline: Ideally 3-5 weeks.

Not sure if you have enough time? Contact the studio before ordering with your wedding date, required arrival date, product and quantity so we can confirm availability.

Step 2: Placing your order

Follow the personalisation instructions on your chosen product. Double-check all names, spellings, dates, wording and quantities before submitting.

• Full names exactly as you'd like them to appear
• Wedding date in full
• Venue name and location, where required
• Colour or font preferences, where offered
• Quantity required, including any spares you need

Step 3: Design and digital proof

Every personalised order receives a digital proof. Once your order is confirmed and payment received, our studio begins designing your piece. You will receive your digital proof by email within 2–3 working days of placing your order.

Your proof shows the layout, personalised text, colour palette and design elements. Check every word, name, date and detail carefully, zooming in or printing it out if helpful.

Approval is your responsibility. Confirm your proof only when you are satisfied that the details and design are correct and ready to print. If you need amendments, reply to the proof email with your changes before approving.

Allow 2 working days per revision round. Time spent reviewing and approving your proof also affects the overall turnaround.

Step 4: Production

Once you've approved your proof, your order enters production. Once printing begins, we can't make amendments. Contact us immediately if you notice a problem after approval so we can check what is still possible.

Production time: 3–10 working days from proof approval, depending on the product and current studio demand.

Large-format signs, luxury keepsake boxes with multiple personalised elements and large print runs typically take longer. During peak wedding season, typically March–September, production times may be extended. We'll let you know if your order is affected.

Step 5: UK dispatch and delivery

Orders are dispatched from our UK studio via Royal Mail, DPD or Evri. You'll receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking details when your order leaves us.

• Standard UK delivery: 2–3 working days after dispatch.
• Express/next-day UK delivery: available at an extra cost. Contact us to confirm suitability for your deadline.
• International delivery: by exception only; contact us before ordering.

Time between production completion and dispatch: Usually 2 weeks. Dispatch and delivery are separate stages; an express delivery option does not itself shorten proofing or production.

If your order arrives damaged, photograph it immediately and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

What if I notice a spelling error after approval?

Contact the studio immediately with your order details and the correction needed. We will check your submitted information, approved proof and production status, then explain the available next steps and any applicable reprint cost before proceeding.

• Before ordering if you're unsure whether your wedding deadline can be met
• For a large, complex or bespoke order
• If you haven't received your proof within 3 working days
• If you need an urgent amendment after approval
• If your delivery has arrived and something isn't right
